Mayar El-Beblawi: Naglaa Fathi convinced me to break my fast in Ramadan because of filming the movie “Disco Disco”

The artist, Mayar El-Beblawi, spoke about her participation in the movie Disco Disco, saying: “I could not believe myself, I was very obedient, and I loved the subject very much.”

Al-Beblawi added in her interview with the journalist Basma Wahba, presenter of the “Al-Arafa” program, on the Al-Mehwar and Al-Nahar channels: “I was not veiled and I was young, and I went in to make a scene and asked to do it after breakfast, but I was told no.”

The artist continued: “I was filming at the disco for two weeks. My sister and I were the only ones fasting among the young artists, and we filmed all day at the disco. There was no point in fasting because all the scenes involved drinking, and on the day of the controversial scene, she entered the toilet and locked me, and Enas Al-Deghaidy got angry because There was no point in making them sit for two hours until breakfast to do my scene, and I was crying because I didn’t have breakfast and wasting time.”

She continued: “Someone had to convince me to break my fast, and here came Naglaa Fathi’s turn. She was a wonderful person, and if she told me to throw yourself in the fire, you will be old, and she came and said to me, ‘Come on, my love,’ so that you can do the scene, and she convinced me that we should not eat during Ramadan so that we would remain like the poor and break the fast.” Don’t hide the matter, it will pass.”
