4. Not Dead Yet (X / Ultimate Move) Press to use the ability to revive yourself. Once revived, you must kill at least 1 enemy or deal damage within the specified time. to continue living in that cycle

VALORANT confirmed that the addition of Clove as a new controller was done because they wanted to give players more variety in their options. Dan Hardison, VALORANT gameplay designer, confirmed that
The agent said after the release of the VALORANT EPISODE 8 ACT II game series that

“The essence of Clove’s gameplay is playing with fire. To achieve success You must take risks and sacrifice your life for the greater good. To get rid of the enemy’s abilities by killing the opponent, Clove is different from other controllers whose overall offensive abilities are weaker than average, but because Clove has the ability to help the team after death. This makes him worthy of almost any fight to the death. Instead of running away from an opponent, Clove should sometimes just run in and die while he has a friend waiting to trade, because 1 to 1 is more advantageous to his team than him.

Plus, Clove isn’t the only character to resurrect himself. Since he is also the first character in the VALORANT universe to have non-binary gender diversity, the VALORANT team revealed the story behind the decision to include more options for all types of players in the world. So that players can enjoy the game without sexism.

John Gosicki, head of VALORANT Agents, said: “When creating Agents, our goal is to present a diverse cast of characters that truly reflects our global player base. Clove’s sexual identity goes hand in hand with her distinctive personality and playstyle. It’s an equally important part that helps shape her identity as a VALORANT agent.”

“CLOVE, the Scottish troublemaker. He will wreak havoc on enemies both in the heat of battle and when they die. This immortal child would keep enemies guessing even in the afterlife. He will come back to life after just a moment.”
