Meet Mori Izumi: The Devoted Pet Parent Trading in the Spotlight for a Life of Lather and Clippers
Giorgio Armani Omotesando Store Opening Ceremony: Izumi Mori Attends with Pet Dog Coco
Model Izumi Mori (41) attended the opening ceremony of the luxury fashion brand Giorgio Armani’s Omotesando store in Omotesando, Tokyo on the 13th. She appeared with her beloved dog Coco, showcasing her love for animals and fashion.
Izumi Mori revealed that she started attending a grooming school this year, taking her passion for her pet to the next level. With a smile, she said, “I don’t know what made me do it, but I started going this year. I shampoo and cut my dog’s hair every day. It’s hard work, but it’s fun. If you have an idea, it’s essential to just try it.” This showcases her dedication to her pet and her willingness to try new things.
At the press conference, Izumi Mori also shared the teachings of her grandmother, Hanae Mori (96 years old at the time of death), the world-famous designer who passed away in 2022. “She told me, ‘Don’t be too strong,'” she said. “I didn’t really listen to her answer, but I interpreted it in my own way, which was that you need flexibility when you collide with others. If you’re too strong, you’ll break when you collide, so I think she meant that you need the flexibility to adapt to different people.” This highlights the importance of being adaptable and open to new experiences.
The Giorgio Armani Omotesando store, which opened on the 6th, features a unique boutique with a cafe, the first of its kind in Japan. The interior design was inspired by Japanese lanterns, creating a beautiful and culturally rich atmosphere. This new store is a must-visit destination for fashion enthusiasts and those looking for a unique shopping experience.
