Meet the Next Generation: Trump Unveils Grandkids Carolina and Luke at Electrifying North Carolina Rally
Trump Brings Grandchildren on Stage at North Carolina Rally
Former President Donald Trump had a heartwarming moment with his grandchildren at a rally in the competitive state of North Carolina on Saturday.
The Republican candidate brought his grandchildren, Luke and Carolina, on stage while addressing the rally attendees in Wilmington. Luke and Carolina Trump are the children of Eric and Lara Trump.
Trump joked to the audience, “There’s also a very important member of our family… way more important than Eric or Lara. And her name is Carolina.” He added, “And she’s beautiful and sweet and doesn’t know how evil life can be.”
Trump then asked Carolina to come up on stage, and moments later, he reappeared at the podium holding his 5-year-old granddaughter and brought her to the microphone.
Carolina confused “America” with “American” when she said, “Make America great again.” The crowd cheered wildly before Trump introduced Luke and invited him on stage.
Trump said, “Does anyone want to meet Luke? Her brother? Luke, come up,” before lifting his grandson up and carrying him to the podium.
Luke, 7, told the cheering crowd, “Vote for Grandpa,” prompting a loud cheer. Trump told the audience that he asked Luke to say something else.
Trump said, “I whispered in his ear, he was so cute, and I said, ‘Say MAGA.’ He said, ‘Vote for grandpa.'” He added, ”He didn’t care what I said, and that was actually a lot better.”
Trump added that his daughter-in-law, Lara, grew up in North Carolina before continuing his speech about his opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris. Earlier in the rally, Trump stressed the importance of turning out the vote in the Tar Heel State.

Trump predicted, “In exactly 45 days, we will win North Carolina. We will defeat Kamala Harris and make America great again.”
