Meet the ‘Terminator B760BKB’: The Motherboard That Defies Convention – A Game-Changer for Niche PC Gamers
Maxsun B760BKB Terminator: A Motherboard with a Unique PCIe Slot Location
A motherboard has appeared with a PCIe slot in a never-before-seen location.
The motherboard is the “Terminator B760BKB” from Chinese Maxsun. First, take a look at the surface photo.

At first glance, it looks like a common Mini-ITX motherboard. The location of the PCIe slot is also normal, although it is a PCIe 3.0 x4 slot.
And look at the back.

PCIe 5.0 slot on the back! ?
Did you understand?
Surprisingly, it has a full-sized PCIe slot on the back.
This slot is a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot and is compatible with high-end graphics cards.
Why is there a PCIe 5.0 slot in this location? When building a PC,

Install Grabo vertically
Grabbo can be installed as shown above.
The advantage of this motherboard is that even though it is a Mini-ITX, you get a PCIe 3.0 x4 slot in addition to the graphics card slot, and you can install the graphics card vertically without the need for a riser cable.
Normally, using a riser cable to vertically install a graphics card can result in performance degradation, but with this motherboard you don’t have to worry about that.
The disadvantages are that you need a PC case that supports this structure and that you are concerned about heat coming from the backplate side of the graphics card.
“Terminator B760BKB” uses the LGA1700 socket and is compatible with 12th, 13th, and 14th generation Intel CPUs. The selling price is 899 Chinese yuan, or about 18,000 yen in Japanese yen. No announcement has been made regarding how it will be handled in Japan.
