In the final episode of her podcast, “confessions of a Female Founder,” Meghan Markle shared candid details about her
experiences during her pregnancies. The Duchess of Sussex spoke with Sara Blakely, the founder of SPANX, about
various topics, including family and Blakely’s new shoe venture, Sneex.
Markle revealed that she gained a significant amount of weight during both pregnancies—approximately 65 pounds
each time. This made wearing her signature stilettos notably challenging at royal events. Meghan Markle’s
pregnancy experiences included relying on Prince Harry for support.
She recalled one friend pointing out a photo from her pregnancy with Prince Archie, noting Markle’s “enormous
bump” and ”tiny little ankles” in five-inch heels. Meghan Markle said she felt like she was always on the verge
of ”face-planting.”
Markle admitted, “I’m always clinging very closely to my husband like ‘Please don’t let me fall!'”
