A monday morning fire at a Menifee⁣ tire shop is under investigation after displacing five residents and causing significant damage. The ‍blaze, reported around 2 ⁤a.m., drew a large response⁢ from CalFire after a call‍ came in about⁣ a car fire near Highway 74 and 2nd Street. The⁢ incident highlights⁢ the importance of fire⁣ safety and⁤ community support in times of crisis.

Fueled by a large quantity of tires, the flames quickly escalated, becoming visible for miles, according to area residents. Miguel Villavicencio, a local resident, described the ⁢intensity: “You could see the⁤ flames. They were 20 feet high. It was bad.” The rapid spread of the fire underscores the potential dangers associated with‍ tire storage and the need for stringent safety measures.
