This marks the chain’s first venture into Croatia, adding to its existing presence in Montenegro with the Sun Resort.The potential acquisition would bring Hunguest Hotels’ total room count on the Adriatic Sea to 350.
The Hotel Miramar is a 110-room complex comprised of five buildings located directly on the seaside. it is the 22nd hotel within the Hunguest chain.

Hotel Miramar is situated in a Neo-Renaissance style villa originally constructed in 1884, located a seven-minute walk from Opatija’s old town. According to Telex, Lőrinc Mészáros’s Opus Global acquired the hotel from an Austrian owner at the end of 2022.
