Dr. Manar Ghanem, member of the media center at the General Meteorological Authority, expected that today will witness a state of instability in weather conditions as a result of the passage of a depression in the upper layers of the atmosphere, and thus the presence of low and medium clouds throughout the day that block the sun’s rays and lead to a decrease in temperature values. The maximum in Greater Cairo is witnessing 20 degrees Celsius.
She added, during a telephone interview on the “Good Morning Egypt” program, broadcast on the Egyptian Channel 1, presented by the media personality Dina Sharaf, that there are chances of rain of varying intensity, from light to moderate, and thunderstorms, in most of the northern governorates of the country, up to Greater Cairo, northern Upper Egypt, the Canal cities, and Sinai. , at intermittent periods of the day.
It indicated that there is activity with wind speeds of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour, especially in the northern coasts, Lower Egypt governorates, and Upper Egypt governorates, and it also raises sand and dust in the Red Sea governorates.
She confirmed that it is a rapid weather condition that will last today, and starting tomorrow, Monday, the chances of rain will disappear, with an increase in temperature values, and by the end of the week, temperatures will reach 29 degrees Celsius in Cairo.
