Midnight Mayhem: 3-Story Boulder Crashes into Apartment Building in Shocking Early Morning Incident

At an apartment complex in China, rocks from a nearby construction site came down and hit the apartment building.

Although no one was injured, there are concerns that the entire 30 story building could be in jeopardy as part of the outer wall of the ground floor of the flat collapsed.

The CCTV footage shows the inside of the house suddenly shaking violently, as if there was an earthquake.

A flat living room window is blocked by a rock the size of a house.

Around 3 am yesterday, rocks flowing down from a construction site in Jing’an County, Guizhou Province, China, hit an apartment complex.

“Rocks were pouring straight into our house on the second floor.

It appears that the rock that hit the apartment building was about three storeys high.

“We estimate that a landslide occurred around 3 am on the 26th, and we are investigating the specific cause.”

However, residents do not see it as a simple landslide.

This accident is said to have occurred during blasting work at a construction site next to the complex at 3 am.

If you look down at the crash site from the air, you can see that the rocks are split in one direction.

The problem is that the outer wall of the apartment which has been collapsed by the rock is likely to serve as a load bearing wall which supports the entire building.

Residents demanded that measures be taken, saying that the entire 30th floor apartment was tilted significantly, posing a serious risk to the entire complex.

Local authorities emphasized that six flats were damaged in this accident and that site inspection and subsequent disposal work is proceeding in an orderly manner.
