The Millennium Falcon,a pop culture icon,will have its story expanded in a new Marvel Comics series. “Star Wars: Han Solo — Hunt for the Falcon” will explore what happened to Han Solo’s prized ship between “Return of the jedi” and “The Force Awakens.”
The five-issue miniseries, written by Rodney Barnes and featuring art by Ramon Rosanas, promises to reveal how Han lost the Millennium Falcon. The comic arrives Sept. 3, 2025.
The synopsis reveals that a restless Han Solo seeks to reclaim the Falcon, leading him and Chewbacca on an adventure against various rogues, including Ducain, the scoundrel who initially stole the ship.
The “Star Wars” film “Solo: A Star Wars Story” previously showed how Han won the Millennium Falcon from Lando Calrissian. The new comic aims to fill in the gap of how he lost it before “The Force Awakens,” where Rey, played by Daisy Ridley, mentions it was stolen from Han.
