New⁤ Mac Mini to Feature Five USB-C Ports, Redesigned to be Smaller

Developers have⁣ discovered code in Apple software that suggests the upcoming Mac mini will boast five⁣ USB-C ports,⁣ similar to the Mac Studio.

This latest development aligns with an earlier report from Bloomberg’s‌ Mark Gurman, which revealed ‍that the new Mac mini will have two USB-C ports on the front and three on the back. Some of these ports are likely to be Thunderbolt 4 ports, which utilize a USB-C connector.

The new‌ Mac mini is expected to be⁢ redesigned to be as compact as an Apple TV, with a choice of M4 or M4 Pro chips. It is slated ‌to launch in late October, with⁢ a⁤ release ⁣date expected ‍in early November ⁣2024.
