Minister of Finance Supports Sudan Scholars Association’s Plans
Port Sudan, September 17, 2024 – The Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Jibril Ibrahim, has expressed his support for the plans and strategies of the Sudan Scholars Association. He acknowledged the association’s crucial role in addressing social issues and leading awareness campaigns to tackle the challenges of war and thwart the strategic plan to destroy the country and plunder its resources.
During his meeting with Al-Nour Al-Tom Fadl Al-Mawla, Secretary General of the Authority, at the Ministry, the Minister emphasized the importance of leveraging the energy of youth and women to raise public awareness about facing the challenges of war. He also highlighted the need to prepare for rebuilding and reconstructing the country.
The Secretary General of the Commission provided a detailed overview of the Commission’s plan, which addresses pressing issues and envisions the post-war period. He also discussed the role of scholars in interacting with society, supporting the government’s efforts, and supporting the armed forces.
The Commission is set to hold a conference where scholars will contribute to addressing the current suffering and benefiting from the grant. The conference will also focus on the future after the end of the war and participate in rebuilding and reconstructing plans.
