The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety announced on the 21st that it will supply 21 million self-test kits for COVID-19 that can be purchased by individuals from the 20th to the 26th to about 75,000 pharmacies and convenience stores nationwide.

This was originally scheduled to supply 30 million people to the bad country and convenience stores in the 3rd and 4th weeks of this month. However, as new product approvals and production increased, an additional 10 million people were secured, supplying a total of 40 million self-test kits. .

An official from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety said, “We will actively cooperate with self-test kit manufacturers to increase production so that individuals can purchase self-test kits at the right time and at an appropriate price. Free tests are available at clinics and temporary screening clinics,” he explained.
