– Minneapolis Police Absence During ICE Shooting Protests
Protesters blocked access to the scene of a Wednesday shooting involving ICE agents in Minneapolis, establishing barricades and controlling traffic while police remained absent. The incident occurred during an ICE operation in South Minneapolis, according to the Department of Homeland Security.
Officials say agents were attempting arrests when renee Good, 37, allegedly used her vehicle aggressively. A federal agent then fired a weapon in self-defense. following the shooting, protesters constructed barriers using chairs, trash cans, wooden pallets, and bicycles.
Fox News Digital reporters observed the protest Thursday,noting no police presence as demonstrators managed traffic flow.

Messages spray-painted on the barricades included “F- ICE” and “ICE are terrorists.” Minneapolis police removed the barricades early Friday morning.
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem stated during a news conference that Good, a U.S. citizen, was “stalking and impeding agents” and had been instructed to exit her vehicle before the shooting.
