According to the SCMP, Sun Hongxia’s husband, from Anhui Province in eastern China, lost consciousness and was in a vegetative state due to a sudden heart attack in 2014. For the next 10 years, Sun stayed by her husband’s side and cared for her with complete devotion .
Sun, who said she focuses on her husband every day, said, “I put time and energy into keeping my unconscious husband comfortable.”
It took effort and patience to save him. Sun cited his two children as the reason he never gave up even when it was difficult.
