Milwaukee — Jacob Misiorowski, the Brewers’ highly touted pitching prospect, made a memorable MLB debut Thursday, showcasing a dominant fastball. His fastest pitch clocked in at 102.2 mph,marking an electric start against the St. Louis Cardinals. The Brewers secured a 6-0 victory, but Misiorowski’s night ended prematurely due to cramping.
Misiorowski, ranked as the Brewers’ No. 4 prospect and MLB’s No. 68, delivered 14 pitches exceeding 100 mph. This performance ranks among the top debuts in the pitch-tracking era. Catcher William Contreras noted the surprise of consistently seeing pitches at 101 and 102 mph.
