Al-Ahly will be absent for a long period due to the cessation of competitions due to the circumstances of the Egyptian national team’s participation in the African Cup of Nations in Côte d’Ivoire, and will resume matches starting in the second half of this February by facing Algeria’s CS Belouizdad in the African Champions League.

Al-Ahly will play its first match with Algerian club Belouizdad on February 16, in the postponed match from the fourth round of the group stage of the African Champions League.
