Norris acknowledged the importance of the achievement, especially after recent struggles. He said the Monaco track was a “stunning track to do it.” He added, “It was a nice lap, a well put-together lap. It feels good when it all comes together.”
Charles Leclerc, who qualified second, voiced his frustration at missing out on pole.
