Monson Savings Bank is furthering its commitment to community support with a $5,000 donation to the Salvation army’s Ware/Monson Area Housing Assistance Program. The contribution aims to provide crucial support to individuals and families in the region who are experiencing housing instability, helping them remain in their homes and avoid homelessness.This initiative highlights the bank’s focus on community support and addressing housing needs.
Dan Moriarty, president and CEO of monson Savings Bank, along with Heather Arbour, vice president BSA/Fraud officer and Compliance manager, presented the donation to Wilfred leslie, service extension director for the Salvation Army’s Massachusetts Division. The funds will specifically target rent, utilities and emergency housing for residents within the bank’s service area, addressing immediate financial hardships.
