Green Justice Party MP Jang Hye-young, a candidate in this region, obtained 8.78% of the votes and placed third after People Power Party candidate Ham Un-kyung.

But after the elections something unexpected happened.

Donations poured in for Rep. Jang, who was defeated.

Rep. Jang said on his SNS on the 13th: “Something amazing happened” and “Thanks to the support and support you have given me in the past three days since I was defeated, my donation account has reached the limit “.

At the same time, he added, “Some people sent me 9,860 won, saying they were minimum wage workers and wasting my time,” and added, “Everyone said in unison, ‘Never give up.’”

Rep. Jang went on to say, “I will never give up on my dream of changing the world to a better place through politics.” He added: “Even now that the limit has been crossed, I receive requests for donations, so I ask once again for the last time. Please send me the support you want to the Green Justice Party.

He said: “A party is the ground and home for a politician”, and made an appeal: “A politician can only exist if there is a party. Please give your precious heart to the Green Justice Party, which is starting over where the giant Left was.”

The Green Justice Party, to which MP Jang belongs, aimed to secure the current number of seats, 6, in this general election, but failed to produce a single elected candidate in both local constituencies and proportional representation.

Notably, MP Shim Sang-jeong, who was the party’s flagship, announced his intention to retire from politics after losing his constituency, Goyang-gap, Gyeonggi-do.
