Mumbai Indians Secure 29-Run Victory Over Delhi Capitals in IPL Match

Mumbai Indians won by 29 runs at home against Delhi Capitals. Mumbai, who have lifted the trophy five times, have not won a game this season under new captain Hardik Pandya. Chasing the target of 235 runs set by Mumbai, Delhi’s battle ended on 205/8. Delhi’s top scorer is Tristan Stubbs who scored 71 runs off 25 balls.

Delhi lost opener David Warner while adding 22 runs on the scoreboard. After Jasprit Bumrah clean bowled Prithvi Shah (66 off 40 balls), who scored a half-century, Delhi’s status improved. Mumbai Indians set a huge target of 235 runs ahead of Delhi Capitals with the good performance of the batsmen. A good start from openers Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan laid the foundation for the Mumbai batting. Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant won the toss and sent Mumbai into bat.

Rohit Sharma scored 49 runs off 27 balls including 3 sixes and 6 fours. Axar Patal gave Delhi the first break when Rohit was dismissed shortly after his half-century.
