Mumbai Indians Secure Impressive Victory Against Delhi Capitals with Batsmen’s Stellar Performance

Mumbai Indians chased down the target of 235 runs ahead of Delhi Capitals with the best performance from the batsmen. Mumbai scored 234 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. A good start from openers Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan laid the foundation for the Mumbai batting. Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant won the toss and sent Mumbai into bat.

Rohit Sharma scored 49 runs off 27 balls including 3 sixes and 6 fours. Axar Patal gave Delhi the first break when Rohit was dismissed shortly after his half-century. Suryakumar Yadav, who returned after a long break, could not score any runs. With the addition of captain Hardik Pandya along with Ishan Kishan, the pace of scoring increased. Ishan Kishan also returned with 42 runs off 23 balls. Axar Patel took the wicket again for Delhi. Tilak Verma disappointed the young player who scored only 6 runs.

Tim David (45) and Romario Shepherd (39) in the last over gave Mumbai a good score of 234.
