With the objective of instilling public confidence and effectively halting the proliferation of dengue fever cases, Mayor Somchai brought in specialized personnel from the Public Health Division of Thap Than Subdistrict Municipality, alongside dedicated disease control and prevention officers. Their joint task was to meticulously inspect the dwelling where the dengue fever patient was found, specifically targeting potential breeding grounds for mosquito larvae. The team stands prepared to promptly deploy staff members to expedite fog spraying operations, effectively disrupting the mosquito breeding cycle and preventing a surge in new cases. Furthermore, they plan to conduct extensive fog spraying within a 100-meter radius of the affected households, ensuring the complete eradication of mosquito larvae. A total of three fog spraying sessions, spaced seven days apart, will be conducted as an additional measure of precaution.

Mayor Somchai also took the initiative to notify members of the municipal council, village chiefs, community leaders, and residents across all four sub-districts in Thap Than municipality. This broader communication effort encompasses Thap Than Subdistrict, Nong Ya Plong Subdistrict, Thung Na Thai Subdistrict, and others. Members of the public are strongly encouraged to promptly report any sightings of mosquitoes or mosquito larvae to the municipality.
