Mumbai: Young batsman from Mumbai, Musheer Khan, has broken legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar’s record. The player broke the record by scoring a century in the Ranji Trophy final against Vidarbha.
Musheer holds the record of being the youngest player from Mumbai to score a century in a Ranji Trophy final. Musheer achieved this feat at the age of 19 years and 14 days. The player scored 136 runs in the second innings and became a pillar for Mumbai.
Sachin Tendulkar’s century against Punjab in the 1994-95 season still holds the record. Musheer was reversing the achievement which had remained unbroken for 29 years.
