The artist Mustafa Khater confirmed that when he read the episodes of the first season of the series “The House is My Home,” he felt that he was different from the prevailing and was confident that he would achieve success, but at the same time he did not expect the interaction and uproar that the work achieved in Egypt and the Arab world.
Mustafa continued in a press release issued by the MBC Group: “When the second season project was presented, I was excited and afraid at the same time.”
Regarding the events of the second season and the character he introduces, he said, “We see him as the owner of a hotel in Ain Sokhna, a hotel devoid of guests, and the relationship with Karakiri has become deeper, after a kinship relationship between them is revealed, and they meet by chance in front of an abandoned hotel, and we get to know a new character linked to the old story, revealing events that took place.” Forty years ago, will Benno and Karakiri be able to solve the mystery?
Khater praises working with director Khaled Marhi, “He is one of the best directors I have dealt with, and he is trying to present the series in its best light, and we hope that it meets the expectations of the audience.”
He expressed his happiness at “the presence of the great actor Ahmed Badir among the characters of the second season, and he is undoubtedly a great addition.”
The dramatic events of the second season begin when Krakiri and Benno meet in front of a hotel to meet a mysterious person, who turns out to be coming from the past. Then they are surprised that the hotel is completely deserted, unlike the state they entered in. It turns out that this hotel was burned down about forty years ago while a wedding was being held there. The hotel is renewed the next day at the same time, and Pino and Karakiri begin the journey of searching for tonight’s secrets.
The events begin with a presentation of the lives of Benno and Karakiri, which is plagued by bad luck for unknown reasons, which unfolds successively through the developments. In addition to Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz and Mustafa Khater, the work includes: Mirna Jamil, Suleiman Eid, Sobhi Khalil, Abdel Rahim Hassan, and with the participation of the great actor Ahmed Badir.
