WWE NXT developments following Blake Monroe’s recent loss have sparked internal discussion about the future of the Vanity Project faction, with one key name now emerging as a possible addition. According to multiple sources, Myka Lockwood is being considered as a potential new member of the group if Monroe officially moves to WWE’s main roster.

The discussion gained traction after Monroe’s loss on Tuesday’s episode of WWE NXT, which intensified speculation about her potential call-up to the main roster. If that move occurs, WWE appears to be preparing a contingency plan for the Vanity Project, with Lockwood positioned as a likely replacement to maintain the faction’s stability on NXT television.

Lockwood made her on-screen debut during Week Two of NXT Revenge in a segment directly tied to the Vanity Project storyline. The angle began with Shiloh Hill attempting to keep Jackson Drake away from ringside during a key title match by arranging a fake date for him. The plan was designed to prevent Drake from interfering in the Women’s North American Championship casket match between Monroe and reigning champion Tatum Paxley.

However, the scheduled date never showed up, leading to Lockwood entering the scene. She quickly interacted with Drake and revealed that Hill had used an AI chatbot to set up the fraudulent meeting. The segment concluded with Lockwood leaving the bar alongside members of the Vanity Project, signaling a potential alignment with the faction moving forward.

Outside of the storyline, Lockwood — whose real name is Bayley Humphrey — brings a strong athletic background to WWE. She is a former Division 1 acrobatics and tumbling All-American from Baylor University and joined WWE as part of the fourth NIL recruiting class announced in December 2023. Sources note that her finishing move has impressed those who have seen it in developmental settings.

While no official decision has been confirmed regarding Lockwood’s addition or Monroe’s potential call-up, the creative direction suggests that Lockwood’s involvement may be the first step toward a larger role if changes to the Vanity Project become official. Wrestling observers continue to monitor the situation as NXT evolves in response to roster shifts.
