A full set of winners’ medals from Manchester City’s historic 2022-23 Treble-winning season has been put up for auction, with the identity of the seller remaining anonymous.
The collection, confirmed by sports memorabilia auctioneers Budds as an official set from the Treble season, includes Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League winners’ medals, along with two additional medals from the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup victories that completed the club’s clean sweep of silverware in 2023.
The Premier League medal comes in its original box with the inscription ‘Champions 2022-23’ on the reverse, while the Champions League medal features an inscription and ribbon marking City’s first-ever European Cup triumph. The FA Cup medal is accompanied by its ribbon and original fitted case.
The opening bid for the set has been listed at £30,000, but experts believe the final price will climb significantly higher. Budds has estimated that the medals could fetch between £50,000 to £80,000 by the time the auction concludes.
The lot is scheduled to be sold as part of the ‘Made In Manchester Live’ auction, which is due to take place on April 28, 2026.
It is currently unknown whether the seller is a former player or a member of the backroom staff who was part of Pep Guardiola’s inner circle during the record-breaking campaign. When contacted by Daily Mail Sport, Budds confirmed the medals are an official set from the Treble season, while the vendor has chosen to remain anonymous.
The collection covers the club’s iconic 2022-23 season, during which Manchester City secured the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League titles before adding the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup to complete an unprecedented haul of trophies.
The ultimate City collection is expected to attract massive interest from wealthy collectors and club historians alike, with the mystery surrounding the seller’s identity adding to the intrigue of the auction.
