Nahdet Berkane and USMA… “CAF” resolves the “shirt crisis”

The Confederation of African Football sent a letter to the Algerian Federation, a copy of which was obtained by Agence France-Presse, in which it stated: “The club, Ittihad Al-Asimah, was punished as a loser with a score of 0-3.”

The Competitions Committee transferred “the case to the Disciplinary Committee to consider further penalties.”

The committee added that the return match will be held on time at the municipal stadium in Berkane next Sunday.

The Moroccan Football Federation announced that it had obtained a copy of the “CAF” decision regarding the match between RS Berkane and USMA.

The Moroccan team objected to the Algerian authorities confiscating its luggage at Houari Bou Mediene Airport in the Algerian capital, Friday, as the team’s official shirt included the entire map of Morocco.

The Moroccan team came to the 5th of July Stadium on Sunday, but remained in the dressing room until the start of the match passed, while USMA entered the field, and the refereeing team remained behind in the match, which did not even start.
