Lawyer Nam Wook claimed that he had heard that Jae-myung Lee, who was the mayor of Seongnam at the time of the Daejang-dong project, was involved in the project or had a stake in the project.

In the trial of the Daejang-dong development corruption case held by the 22nd criminal division of the Seoul Central District Court, Attorney Nam-wook told accountant Jeong Young-hak, who was selected as a witness, “In early December 2014, Mr. Did you hear the conversation I told you to leave?” and accountant Jung replied, “I didn’t hear about Lee Jae-myung at the time.”

Nam’s lawyer also asked, “In January 2015, former general manager Dong-gyu Yoo reported the rental apartment to Mayor Lee Jae-myung through chief Jeong Jin-ganu, and Lee agreed and the final decision was made to include the rental flat in the public offerings guide.” The accountant replied, “It was different from my memory at the time.”

Attorney Nam also asked, “Do you remember that Man-Bae Kim, whom I met in a bar in Gangnam, Seoul, in the spring of 2015 said that part of the business was owned by Mayor Lee Jae-myung? ” No,” he denied.
