Nara Club Kicks Off Second Season in J3 Football League with High Hopes for Promotion

Nara Club of J3 football league started its second season on the 11th.

Last season, Nara Club participated in the battle for first place until the final round, despite being in their first year in J3, and did well, finishing in 5th place out of 20 teams.
The team started its second season on the 11th, and over 40 people, including coaches and players, gathered at the Nara Club base, “Nara Dea” in Misato City.
First, president Mitsuru Hamada greeted the clubhouse, saying: “This year we aim to be promoted to J2 and I want to go and see the next level in the world.” Then, Ryosuke Tamura, a player from Nara Prefecture who transferred from Gainare Tottori to J3. Eight new players have been introduced, including Yuki Okada, an attacking midfielder who transferred from Giravanz Kitakyushu to J3.
Training then took place on the field and the players exercised their bodies by running and passing the ball for about an hour, starting this season’s training.
Yuki Kotani, captain last season, said: “We didn’t win many games at home last season, so this year we want to win as many games as possible at home.”
Nara Club’s opening match of this season is scheduled for the end of next month (February) and will be at home against FC Ryukyu.
