The Korean Football Association’s National striker, Hwang Eui-jo (31), currently playing for Nottingham, has once again been targeted by an individual who leaked details of his private life. According to News 1, the Cybercrime Investigation Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency is actively investigating the identity of this individual, known as Mr. A, who has sent a second threat to Hwang Eui-jo via email.

Mr. A reportedly stated in the email that unless the accusation against him was withdrawn by June 30, he would publicly expose all of Hwang Eui-jo’s private matters. This comes after a previous incident where texts and videos revealing Hwang Eui-jo’s personal life were circulated on social media.

In response to the initial allegations, Hwang Eui-jo’s agent, UJ Sports, swiftly released a statement denouncing the content as false and stated their intent to pursue legal action. Subsequently, Hwang Eui-jo filed a complaint with the police on June 27 against the individual responsible for the private life disclosure.

On June 29, Hwang Eui-jo addressed the matter in a handwritten statement, expressing the distress and fear he experienced during this ordeal. He firmly asserted that the person responsible for disseminating the private life video had obtained it through illegal means and emphasized that no illicit activities were committed on his part.

Hwang Ui-jo, who had a short-term loan agreement with FC Seoul earlier this year, has returned to play in the K-League after completing his time with Nottingham Forest in the English Premier League. During the K-League season, he participated in 18 games, scoring 4 goals and providing 2 assists. With the expiration of his contract with Seoul on June 30, he has embarked on a new challenge in Europe and will be joining Nottingham for their preseason preparations. Following the friendly matches, Nottingham’s first game in the Premier League will be against Arsenal on August 12.
