‘Maijin’, loved for its exciting dance performances and cool singing skills, will play the role of promoting Yangju City and raising its status.
On the morning of the 14th, Yangju City appointed national trot singer ‘Maijin’, who took second place in ‘King of Active Singers’, a survival music entertainment program that selects 7 top female active trot singers, as the public relations ambassador for Yangju city.
The appointment ceremony was attended by Mayor Kang Soo-hyun and Yangju City Council Chairman Yoon Chang-cheol, who handed out appointment plaques and souvenirs and exchanged pleasantries.
Mayor Kang said, “I hope that Maijin, who serves as a public relations ambassador, will actively participate in various city administration promotional activities in the future and spread the word about the beauty and excitement of Yangju City.”
Public Relations Ambassador Maijin responded, “I am grateful to Yangju City for appointing me to this meaningful position. While working as a Public Relations Ambassador, I will work hard to be of some help to the development of Yangju City, such as promoting Yangju City’s hosting of an international skating rink.”
