After a disappointing first game, Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren combined for an additional 34 points, bolstering the Thunder’s offense.the Thunder’s bench also played a crucial role, contributing 48 points, with alex Caruso scoring 20 and Aaron Wiggins adding 18.
Oklahoma City’s ability to rebound after a loss has been a hallmark of their postseason run, going 5-0 with an average winning margin of 19.6 points. Lu Dort’s defensive efforts against Tyrese Haliburton were also key, limiting the Pacers’ star to just five points through three quarters.
The Indiana Pacers, like the Thunder, have not lost consecutive games in the playoffs. for Indiana to regain the upper hand, Haliburton needs to assert himself more, a challenge against Oklahoma City’s defense.

According to Brad Botkin, the Pacers’ path to victory hinges on winning the 3-point battle, as the Thunder hold advantages in size, individual talent, and defense.
Botkin: “Indiana has to win the 3-point battle as OKC is better everywhere else on the floor. They’re bigger. They have the best one-on-one creator certainly in the series and possibly in the world. They have one of the best defenses in history. There’s a reason almost nobody picked the Pacers to win this series, and why many of us didn’t even think they could get more than one win.”
