[디지털투데이 AI리포터] Unlike iPhone, Android doesn’t let you see battery health statistics in settings. However, it was recently reported that Android users can also check the battery status via the Settings app, IT media outlet The Verge reported on the 21st (local time).

Currently, Android users need to use a third-party app or enter a special command code to check the battery status. However, battery information was added in the December Pixel feature update, allowing you to check the battery’s manufacturing date and number of uses.

However, a “Battery Status” page has been added to Android 14 QPR2 Beta 2, but the actual battery status meter is not yet included. Mishal Rahman, an Android expert, said: “In the case of Android 14 QPR2 Beta 2, it appears that information such as current battery charging performance will be displayed through the battery status page.”

Expert Mishal Rahman has also found icons on Android phones that indicate a low battery or no battery detected. “The Settings app sends you ‘suggestions’ when your battery status is deteriorating or your phone can’t detect the battery,” he explained.
