A New Era of Fine Dining Arrives in Charleston with Marbled & Fin

Howard described his vision as a departure from the typical dark and formal steakhouse aesthetic. “It’s 2024, and we wanted to do our version of a steakhouse. It doesn’t have to be dark tufted chairs and white tables. I wanted something energetic and vibrant, and I use the word sassy,” he explained. “I wanted to make it fun, yet still super professional and hospitable. It doesn’t have to be unnecessarily formal.”

The interior design, a collaboration with Charleston-based firm MB Within, features contemporary art, an exposed wine cellar, salmon-colored booths, and abundant plant life. A luxurious bar with glowing accents completes the ambiance.

Marbled & Fin is the fifth Charleston restaurant in the NDG portfolio, joining Husk, Delany Oyster House, Minero, and The James. Chef Eucepe “Cepe” Puntriano leads the kitchen, offering a menu that includes steakhouse classics alongside a strong emphasis on seafood options.

The menu boasts premium cuts of beef, the freshest seafood sourced from both local and distant waters, a globally-inspired wine list, and an extensive selection of spirits and whiskey. The restaurant aims to provide a dining experience unmatched in the city, pushing the boundaries of traditional steakhouse offerings.

Marbled & Fin offers a spacious setting with thoughtfully designed interiors and a lively bar. An expansive wine room adds a touch of luxury to the overall experience. The restaurant provides parking onsite with 30 spaces available Monday through Friday at 5 PM, and all day on Saturday and Sunday. Additional parking is available in the adjacent Charleston Aquarium garage.

The opening of Marbled & Fin represents a significant investment in Charleston’s culinary landscape, signaling a continued demand for high-end dining experiences in the city.
