According to Hive Label Adore, the agency representing NewJeans, the group’s songs are maintaining their long-term popularity on major US Billboard charts.
As of the latest chart released by Billboard on September 4, NewJeans’ Japanese debut single title song “Supernatural” ranked 100th and 192nd on the “Global (excluding US)” and “Global 200” charts, respectively, for 10 consecutive weeks.
The double single “How Sweet” and its title song, released in May, ranked 120th on the “Global (Excluding the US)” chart, maintaining the ranking for 14 consecutive weeks. The song has also surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify, confirming its global popularity.
NewJeans is also performing well on major domestic music charts. On Melon’s August monthly chart, “How Sweet” ranked 3rd, followed by “Supernatural” at 6th and “Bubble Gum” at 10th. A total of 10 NewJeans songs are featured on this chart.
“Supernatural” reclaimed the top spot on Bugs’ weekly chart, compiled from August 26 to September 1. The song had previously held the top spot for six weeks since the first week of July.
