New R&B Releases: Music Videos and Dominic Fike Feature

Chicago R&B singer Ravyn Lenae has released her first new music of 2026 with the arrival of two new tracks, Bobby and Reputation, on April 3, 2026.

According to reporting from Pitchfork, the two releases are accompanied by their own minimalist music videos. The songs represent a return to solo output for Lenae following a period of limited new material.

Reputation is described as an acoustic ballad that explores the theme of a crumbling relationship. The track features a guest verse from Dominic Fike, a collaboration that The Fader characterized as a campfire classic.

The second release, Bobby, offers a different sonic direction. Pitchfork describes the song as a more upbeat number that functions as an internal dialogue regarding whether a lover should continue or end their romance.

Career Context and Recent Activity

These releases follow a relatively quiet period for Lenae throughout 2025. During that year, her musical contributions were limited to two featured appearances on songs by Kali Uchis and PinkPantheress.

In addition to those features, Lenae released covers of Queen’s Bicycle Race and O Holy Night during 2025. Much of her focus during the latter half of that year was spent on the road, as she spent the fall of 2025 touring in support of her 2024 album, Bird’s Eye.

The 2024 release of Bird’s Eye served as a standout project for the artist, establishing the momentum that led into her current 2026 return.
