This week’s picks

‘LEGO® Bricktales’

A VR/MR version of the puzzle adventure game “LEGO® Bricktales” is currently on sale for home game consoles and PCs. We will challenge puzzles in the world of dioramas made with LEGO blocks.

The basic content and system of the game follows the original version. Like the original version, the LEGO block diorama worlds that appear are divided into five, including a jungle, a desert, and a street corner. The operating system is optimized for VR, and has been modified to allow you to enjoy the feel of the game, which is very similar to real LEGO blocks, such as using the Touch controller to grab LEGO blocks.

It also supports the full color passthrough (MR) function, which is the selling point of Quest 3. You can display the main diorama as it is in the real world. This allows you to enjoy not only the puzzles but also the story as if the diorama were real.

“Arizona Sunshine® 2”

Sequel to the VR zombie shooting game “Arizona Sunshine®”. Set in Arizona, America, which has become an apocalyptic world full of zombies, the story depicts a new battle where the player, along with his canine companion, takes revenge on the zombies.

The content of using firearms to eliminate large numbers of zombies and depicting gruesome violence has not changed since the previous work. In terms of combat, a new melee weapon called “machete” and support attacks from a companion (dog) have been added, allowing for more technical fighting styles. In addition, the main campaign supports cooperative play for up to two people. There is also “Horde Mode” where you can cooperate with other players online and fight against zombie attacks.

The PC (Steam) version will also go on sale on the same day as the Quest version. The above cooperative play also supports cross-play, which can be enjoyed with PC players. PlayStation VR2 (PSVR2) is also scheduled to be released in the future.
