NewJeans Speaks Out ⁢Against⁢ Unfair Treatment by HYBE

Late last month, ADOR, a ⁤sub-brand of ⁤Korean entertainment company HYBE, announced that Min Hee-jin, the CEO‍ and founder⁤ of⁤ NewJeans,‍ would ⁢be ⁣retiring.⁢ This news shocked fans and worried⁣ the members of NewJeans. In a recent live broadcast,⁣ the group addressed the situation ‍and expressed their concerns about the unfair treatment ⁤they have ‍been receiving from the⁣ company.

In the 34-minute live broadcast, the five members of NewJeans announced that they would be suspending all group activities ‍and focusing on ⁤individual projects.‌ They⁣ also revealed‌ that they had only learned about ⁢Min Hee-jin’s resignation through the news and felt disrespected by‌ the company.‌ The members stated that⁤ they had encountered unkind treatment from the company ⁣after Min Hee-jin’s departure and‌ that the new representative had failed to provide any real help.

Hanni, a member of NewJeans, ‌shared a personal experience where she⁢ was ignored ⁣by another group’s manager on the ⁣fourth floor of the company. She reported the incident to the new representative, but ⁤the response was dismissive‌ and unhelpful. Minji, ⁤another member, also responded to the company, but there was no resolution.

The group ⁢also ⁣expressed their concerns about the recent leak of videos and chat⁣ records from their trainee‌ days. They felt uneasy⁤ and unprotected, and ‍worried that more serious ⁤privacy issues could occur in the future.

NewJeans stated that their goal is to‍ make good music ‌and perform on stage ⁢with Min Hee-jin. ‌However, this goal seems to be getting further‌ away. The ⁤group’s music videos and ⁣YouTube channels have been removed without warning, leaving ‍them feeling powerless.

The members of NewJeans publicly appealed ‍to HYBE, requesting that⁢ Chairman Bang Si Hyuk and‌ the company restore ADOR to its‍ original state. ⁣They asked for the ‍reinstatement of Min Hee-jin and the merger of management and production operations. The ⁤group⁢ emphasized that this is the only solution that will not conflict with NewJeans and HYBE.

Hanni ⁤stated that she‍ will not⁣ blindly follow the company’s instructions in ⁢the future. She believes that ⁢HYBE’s decisions are not in the best interest of ⁤the artists and‍ may hinder their work and demoralize the members.

NewJeans has set up a new channel for future live broadcasts and⁣ will ‌focus on this platform. However, after the live broadcast, the channel and video⁢ were removed from the ⁤shelves.
