Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield is listed as questionable for Sunday’s Week 7 matchup as he targets his first appearance since Sept. 27 due to a right thumb injury. Mayfield’s potential return anchors a crowded slate of injury reports across the National Football League, featuring major quarterback updates and lengthy roster attrition for multiple franchises.
Baker Mayfield And Lamar Jackson Monitor Injury Status
The Buccaneers could welcome back Mayfield after a three-game absence stemming from his right thumb injury. Undrafted rookie Jalon Daniels has led the offense during Mayfield’s absence. If Mayfield returns, he will be without wide receiver Emeka Egbuka, who leads the team with 240 receiving yards. Safety Antoine Winfield will also miss his second straight game for Tampa Bay.
Over in the AFC North, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is listed as questionable with an ankle injury for the divisional game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Jackson stated that he is trending in the right direction to play after missing the last two games. CB T.J. The Bengals enter the matchup with only four players on their injury report, with defensive tackles Jonathan Allen, B.J. Hill, and Dexter Lawrence listed as not injury related due to rest.
Roster Attrition Hits San Francisco And Atlanta Hard
Wide receivers Mike Evans (ribs/Achilles) and Deebo Samuel (hamstring), along with defensive end Nick Bosa (knee/calf), have all been ruled out. This is the second straight missed game for Samuel. LB Luke Gifford (groin), LB Garret Wallow (hamstring), and S Marques Sigle (ankle) are also out for the 49ers, while WR Christian Kirk, CB Upton Stout (shoulder), and S Siran Neal (knee) are questionable.
Matchup Designations And Key Player Returns
International action takes center stage as the Pittsburgh Steelers (-3.5) and New Orleans Saints meet at Stade de France just outside Paris. RB Rico Dowdle (knee) was limited in practice all week. T.J. Head coach Mike McCarthy stated that he wasn’t concerned about his star LB’s status. For the Saints, just two players are listed on Friday’s injury report. DT Nathan Shepherd has missed the last two games.

Other notable roster developments include New York Jets running back Breece Hall potentially returning after being listed as questionable. Meanwhile, Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson has cleared to play following an ankle injury, and teammate Jordan Addison returns from a hamstring injury aided by the team’s bye week.
