Jared LetoS “Tron: Ares” Enthusiasm Shines at Comic-Con, Bridges Reflects on⁤ Franchise Longevity

Jared Leto, known for his immersive acting methods, recently revealed a moment of uncharacteristic joy on the set ‍of the upcoming “Tron: Ares.” The actor, who typically maintains a more reserved demeanor, confessed to being so captivated by his co-star, Jeff Bridges, that he couldn’t contain his ⁣smiles. “everyone was surprised, because‍ I don’t often do that,” Leto shared. ⁣”The frist AD comes over and said,’Is everything okay?‍ What’s wrong?’ ‍And I‍ said,’I just can’t⁢ stop smiling, because I’m working with this guy.'”

Bridges, a veteran of the “Tron” universe, expressed his own delight at returning to the franchise, especially after such a long hiatus. “’82? 43 years ago? Come on, man!” he exclaimed, ⁢marveling at the longevity of⁣ the iconic film series. However, he admitted to a touch of apprehension on his first day back. “I remember the first ‍day of wondering how it was going to be,” Bridges recalled. “I heard jared only wants to be‍ called⁤ by his character. Everybody’s got diffrent methods and modes. It’s a tough part, man, to play a program!”

The panel, expertly moderated by⁣ filmmaker Kevin smith, maintained a consistently lighthearted atmosphere. This convivial mood ensured the ⁤conversation⁣ steered clear of any potentially sensitive topics, such as⁣ the allegations of misconduct made against Leto in a june ⁢Air Mail story, which he has vehemently ⁣denied.

Newcomer to the “Tron” world, actress Lee, shared her excitement about ⁢her first Comic-Con experience. “I told my agents, ‘Find me something where ⁤I can ⁢ride a lightcycle,'” she said, highlighting her eagerness to be part of the action. Co-stars Arturo Castro and Hasan Minhaj, who portray executives at the fictional company ⁢Encom, injected humor by drawing parallels between their on-screen company⁢ and the real-world studio‍ behind the film.

Castro described the set⁣ experience as akin to “walking into Disneyland every day,” adding a touch of self-deprecating humor, ‍”And I’m not just saying that because they signed my checks, because⁤ they ⁢have my family.” Minhaj playfully chimed in,⁤ “Let this film bring as much shareholder value⁤ to the company as possible this quarter. Really what this is about is Encom and its earnings, which⁢ is a metaphor for the Walt Disney Corporation, one of the best corporations.”

“Tron: ⁢Ares” is slated for a theatrical release on october 10th.
