Nintendo Switch Online Now Enjoys GB-GBA

Nintendo Switch Online has added a variety of classic games from the Famicom to the Super Famicom, Nintendo 64, and Sega Mega Drive. Nintendo has officially added the Game Boy, the Game Boy Advance, which fans have been waiting for along with the Nintendo Direct.

Nintendo released an additional trailer for the Game Boy and Game Boy Advance at the Nintendo Direct held on the 9th, and announced that it would be added with the end of the direct.

Since both models are mobile game machines, many popular games have been named as early included games. Super Mario Land 2, The Legend of Zelda Dream Island DX, Metroid 2 Return of Samus, and Wario Land 3 were introduced as Game Boy titles. The Game Boy as well as the Game Boy Color titles are drawn in the colors of the current devices.

As Game Boy Advance titles, Super Mario Advance 4, Made in Wario, Kurukuru Kururin, Mario Kart Advance, Mario & Luigi RPG, and The Legend of Zelda Strange Hat were introduced. These works are titles that users who really enjoyed each title would have played at least once with the corresponding model.

As Nintendo continues to add titles after the service, it is expected that more titles will be added to the service in the future. At the end of the video, a number of titles were briefly introduced to be added later.

Additionally, if the title supports online play, local play and online multiplayer are supported.

The Game Boy service can only be used with Nintendo Switch Online, and Game Boy Advance can only be enjoyed by subscribing to an add-on package such as the Nintendo 64.
