Severe weather claimed the lives of at least three people in North Dakota, authorities reported Saturday. The Cass County Sheriff’s office responded ⁣to a call in rural Enderlin, N.D., around 11:40 p.m. Friday following reports⁢ of tornado damage at a residence.

Upon arrival, deputies ⁤learned from the Enderlin ⁢Fire department that storm chasers had located two⁣ deceased ‍individuals. Shortly ⁤after, ⁣a third body was discovered at ⁣another⁢ location, officials saeid. The area sustained meaningful damage, prompting deputies and ⁣partner ‍agencies to conduct well-being checks on ⁢residents.
