North Korea again with short-range ballistic missile test North Korea fires short-range ballistic missiles, South Korea says

Missile test again in North Korea. Two short-range ballistic missiles were tested. The missiles, launched on Thursday from the northwestern city of Kusong, traveled 420 km and 270 km to the east. North Korea’s missile test came hours after the top US envoy arrived in South Korea for nuclear deal talks. North Korean state media confirmed that dictator Kim Jong Un had personally assessed the test.

Japan’s Coast Guard said it believed a ballistic missile had landed outside Japan’s exclusive economic zone, citing information from the country’s defense ministry.

North Korea has launched missiles 36 times this year alone. Under Kim Jong Un, the country has increased its missile tests.
