North Korea has fired another ballistic missile for the first time in eight days.

The Joint Chiefs of Staff announced today (27th) that North Korea has launched a ballistic missile into the East Sea and is analyzing flight distance, altitude and specifications.

North Korea’s ballistic missile provocation is the first in eight days since it launched a ballistic missile into the East Sea from Dongchang-ri on the 19th.

This is also the eighth ballistic missile launch this year alone.

Since the 13th, North Korea has continued provocations in response to the ROK-US joint exercise “Freedom Shield” (Freedom Shield FS) conducted by ROK and US forces on the situation.

Between the 21st and 23rd, it openly revealed its nuclear threat by launching nuclear torpedoes and long-range cruise missiles.

While military exercises between South Korea and the United States continue, there is a possibility that North Korea will raise tensions with intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) launches, normal angle launches of ICBMs, and military reconnaissance satellite launches in the future. This is the situation you arise.

In the case of a cruise missile believed to have been launched today, two shots were fired from a submarine off the coast of Sinpo on the 12th.
