Nvidia is bringing its GeForce Now cloud gaming service to Amazon Fire TV devices and Linux, offering gamers a more accessible way to play PC games without requiring expensive hardware. This expansion allows users to stream their favorite PC titles directly to their televisions via Fire TV, and natively on Linux systems.
the GeForce Now app will initially launch on the Fire TV Stick 4K Plus (2nd Gen) and Fire TV Stick 4K Max (2nd Gen),according to Nvidia’s official blog. A wider rollout to all regions supporting both GeForce now and compatible Fire TV devices is planned for later in 2024.
The Fire TV app will be compatible with gamepads and feature a user-pleasant interface for easy game access. Simultaneously, Nvidia announced a GeForce Now app for Linux, specifically compatible with Ubuntu 24.04 and later distributions,slated for a beta release in early 2026.
Expanded Controller Support and New Game Titles
