AI Transforms Retail and CPG Industries, Boosting Efficiency
Updated June 12, 2025
Artificial intelligence is reshaping the retail and consumer packaged goods (CPG) sectors, with many companies reporting increased revenue and lower operational costs. Global brands are adopting AI to overhaul product design, manufacturing, marketing, and shipping processes.
At NVIDIA GTC Paris at vivatech, industry leaders such as L’Oréal, LVMH, and Nestlé discussed their use of AI agents and physical AI, powered by NVIDIA AI and simulation technologies, to improve operations and customer experiences.
3D digital Twins and AI Revolutionize Marketing and Product Design
The fusion of generative AI and 3D product digital twins unlocks new creative possibilities. Nestlé, in collaboration with NVIDIA and Accenture, has launched an AI-powered service to generate high-quality product content for e-commerce and digital media. This service uses digital twins on the NVIDIA Omniverse platform to create virtual replicas of physical products, allowing for digital adjustments and seamless integration into various marketing campaigns.

Nestlé aims to convert 10,000 products into digital twins within two years. LVMH’s Moët Hennessy is also using 3D digital twins to enhance content production. Partnering with Grip, they’ve developed a solution on the NVIDIA Omniverse platform that enables rapid generation of digital marketing assets.

L’Oréal Enhances Marketing with AI
L’Oréal is collaborating with NVIDIA to transform beauty experiences and marketing content using the NVIDIA AI Enterprise platform. anne Machet, global head of content and entertainment at L’Oréal, said generative AI opens new avenues for creativity.
L’Oréal’s CreAItech platform uses a modular ecosystem of models and technologies, including NVIDIA, to generate unique images, videos, and text for various platforms. This allows marketing teams to quickly iterate on campaigns, improving consumer engagement and conversion rates.
Noli.com, an AI-powered multi-brand marketplace founded by L’Oréal, is reinventing beauty product discovery. Amos Susskind, founder and CEO of Noli, said that by applying the latest AI models accelerated by NVIDIA and Accenture to L’Oréal’s knowledge base, they can provide personalized product recommendations.
The Accenture AI Refinery, powered by NVIDIA AI Enterprise, will provide the platform for Noli to experiment and scale, using NVIDIA NeMo microservices.
Physical AI optimizes Supply Chain and Logistics
Physical AI is also making waves in supply chain and logistics. Warehousing robots are maximizing efficiency, with four in five retail companies reporting that AI has helped reduce supply chain operational costs. Lyric is using the NVIDIA cuOpt GPU-accelerated solver for warehouse network planning, while KoiReader Technologies is using the NVIDIA metropolis stack for computer vision solutions. Exotec is leveraging NVIDIA CUDA libraries and the NVIDIA JetPack software growth kit for embedded robotic systems.
These solutions are improving uptime, throughput, and cost savings for supply chain operations.
What’s next
Microsoft, Nestlé, Accenture and NVIDIA will hold a follow-up discussion on digital twins and AI-powered creativity at Cannes Lions on Monday, June 16.
