At the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in early January, Nvidia unveiled the “RTX 3090 Ti” with faster memory and performance.
Initially promised detailed information by the end of January, Nvidia has since remained silent about the price and release date of the RTX 3090 Ti. Currently, the company refuses to state what is happening.
“We don’t currently have any details to share about the RTX 3090 Ti, but we’ll get in touch with you,” Nvidia spokeswoman Jen Andersson recently told The Verge.
Just days after Nvidia first announced the RTX 3090 Ti, Tweak Town and Video Cardz reported that Nvidia has ceased production of this flagship GPU.
The company was reportedly planning to release the RTX 3090 Ti on January 27th, but there seems to be a delay due to BIOS and hardware issues.
January passed without details being announced by Nvidia, and many wondered if the company had forgotten to launch its new flagship GPU.
The price and release date of the “RTX 3090 Ti” are still unknown.
It’s unclear when we’ll get more information than some basic specs about the RTX 3090 Ti.
Nvidia previously revealed that the card looks pretty much the same as the RTX 3090, but with a 24GB GDDR6X running at 21Gbps.
This is the same amount of VRAM as the RTX 3090, but the memory clock is nearly 7.7% faster. The RTX 3090 Ti also features 40 teraflops of GPU performance, which is about 11 percent faster than the RTX 3090.
It seems that we will have to wait a little longer to see exactly how well this card will perform against the RTX 3090 and AMD’s Radeon RX 6900 XT.
