NYC Transit’s Pop-Up Shop Extends Its Run, Offering Unique Subway Memorabilia
New York, NY – Calling all transit enthusiasts and collectors! New York City Transit’s popular memorabilia and Collectibles Pop-Up shop has extended its run due to overwhelming demand. Originally scheduled for December 12th and 13th, the shop will now be open for walk-in visits on Monday, December 16th.
This annual event, which began in 2021, offers a unique chance to own a piece of NYC subway history.Shoppers can find a wide array of items, including retired subway signs, grab holds, station globes, and even vintage card machines.
“We’ve seen incredible interest in this year’s pop-up shop,” said a spokesperson for NYC Transit. “People love the chance to own a piece of the subway system, and we’re thrilled to be able to extend the event for one more day.”
